Karen A. Stroup, beloved wife, mother, and cherished friend, of Berkshire, NY, peacefully passed away on March 17, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born on December 8, 1949, Karen touched the lives of so many with her vibrant spirit and artistic talent. Karen's heart blossomed through her watercolor artwork, where she created stunning depictions of flowers and birds, sharing her love of nature with all who were fortunate enough to see her creations. She leaves behind her devoted husband of 52 years, Walter C. Stroup; her daughters Heather M Stroup and Adrienne M. Stroup and sister Sherry Wegge. Karen's warmth extended to many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews who will forever remember her kindness and artistic spirit. In celebration of her life, family and friends are invited to gather for a visitation at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home, new location 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York 13903, on March 25, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and again on March 26, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at the same location on March 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society to honor Karen's courageous battle. Her radiant legacy of love and artistry will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew her.
