Joyce Blaisure

Joyce Tennyson Blaisure, 90, of Vestal, NY and Zephyr Hills, Florida passed away March 22, 2018. Joyce was a longtime resident of the Binghamton Community and was employed by Endicott Johnson and Kroehler Manufacturing. Upon retirement she and Fritz moved to Florida where she was active in both the Elks and Moose Lodges. Joyce enjoyed playing golf. She left behind many dear friends who were like family when she returned back to New York to be nearby her children for health reasons. She was predeceased by her husband, Frederick (better known as Fritz), grandson, John David DePumpo, sister and brother-in-law, Jean and Bill Decker and special aunt Pauline Blaisure. Joyce is survived by children, Gary and Eileen Blaisure, Corbettsville, Elaine and John DePumpo, Waverly, Donna and Richard Jones, Berkshire, treasured grandchildren; Jodie Blaisure, Julie and Chad Marrano, Denise and Tom Brewer, Kelly DePumpo, Barry and Andrea Jones, Kelly and Brian LaPorte, Michael and Michelle Jones, Shannon Krauss, Mark Fassett, Andrea Fassett, Josh Fassett, Amanda Micu and Benjamin Fassett and eleven great grandchildren. Joyce’s family would like to thank the staff of the Hearth at Castle Gardens for the love, care and support she received during her five years there. A special thanks goes to Dr. Readling for the years of compassionate care he provided. At Joyce’s request her family will honor her privately.
