Joseph Bowles

Beloved father and brother, Joseph Norman Bowles passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. He was born August 28, 1954 in Fluvanna County, Virginia to the late Evelyn Bowles Johnson. At an early age he moved to Binghamton, New York with his mother and stepfather the late, Clarence Johnson. Anyone who knew Jospeh, knew he was a social butterfly and that he had the gift of gab. He loved sports; (his favorite team was the Buffalo Bills (Go Bills!!!) Family was his first love. Despite his absence his family was always first. Joseph was a kind soul who had a smile which would light up the room. He was predeceased by his parents, Evelyn and Clarence Johnson. Joseph leaves to cherish his memories, sons, Brian Fleming and Terrell Brown, brothers, Leon Bowles, Bert Bowles, Calvin Bowles (Debbie) and sister, Wanda Johnson (Sam), eleven treasured grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, nephew, Juwan Johnson, nieces, Shynetta Price and Melody Bowles as well as a host of family and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, November 6, 2021 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Gordon Green officiating.
