Jennie I. Petertyl

Our loving mother, Jennie Irene Povlik Petertyl (Renee) age 90, passed away April 28 ^th at Wilson Hospital.

She was born June 1931 and lived on Park Terrace until her marriage to her predeceased husband Louis of 67 years. Jennie is also predeceased by her parents and three sisters. She is survived by her children Belinda (Gary) Frost of Landenberg, PA, Tom (Nancy) Petertyl of Binghamton, NY and Bonita (James) Usas of Mineral, VA. Jennie also leaves behind her grandchildren Brian Frost, Megan Frost Fornario, Derek Petertyl and three great grandchildren.

Jennie graduated North High and Worked at General Electric, Binghamton Manufacturing and Signer-Link. An active member of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church for 63 years. During retirement she and Louis spend summers at their cottage in Harpersville, NY and winters in their mobile home in West Palm Beach, FL.

A Celebration of Jennie's life will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, June 25, 2022 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Dr. Steven Chastain officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Ross Park Zoo Foundation.
