Jeffrey L Ryan Jr.

Jeffrey L. Ryan, Jr, 53, of Newark Valley, passed away unexpectedly on August 7, 2025. Born on December 29, 1971 in Wilmington, Delaware, he spent most of his life in the Southern Tier of New York.

He is survived by his mother and his stepfather, Debra and Scott Cole; his son, Zach; his siblings, Lori, Carole, and Scotty; his aunt, Gene; his great aunt and uncle, Josie and Al; his cousins, Lindsay, Mary, and Jon; as well as extended family and friends.

His life was marked by challenges and struggles, but also by intelligence, humor, and moments of connection. He loved riding his Harley, gardening, cooking, fishing, and being in nature. Jeff was a caring, loving son with a big heart who will forever live in our hearts. Those who knew him will remember his sharp wit and the potential he carried. His family hopes he has now found peace.
