With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Jason Eromenok, age 48, formally of Susquehanna, PA, who departed this life on May 2, 2026. A beloved son, father, brother, and friend, Jason enriched the lives of all who knew him with his warmth, laughter, and kindness.
Born on June 15, 1977, Jason was a proud graduate of Susquehanna Community High School, class of 1995, where he distinguished himself as an exceptional athlete in wrestling and cross country. His work at Endless Mountain Blue Stone company as a sawyer showcased his dedication and strong work ethic. At the time of his passing, he was furthering his education at SUNY Broome, embodying a spirit of lifelong learning.
Jason is deeply missed by his beloved children, Jason and Gavin, who carry forward his legacy of love. He is survived by his parents, Bridget (Lance) Shelp and Steven Eromenok, and his siblings, Steven (Sheree) Eromenok and Matthew Eromenok. Known for a strong bond with his brothers, Jason would always mention "What can they do? they can't take your birthday away." as a quote of wisdom whlie going through trying times. Jason's life touched countless others, and he leaves behind a large and loving extended family who will forever cherish his memory.
His family invites all who knew Jason to celebrate his life during a memorial service on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, located at 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, New York 13903. Friends and family are welcome to gather starting at 11:00 AM until the time of the service to share memories and honor the vibrant spirit that was Jason.
As we say goodbye, let us carry Jason's joy and love in our hearts, celebrating the remarkable person he was and the indelible mark he leaves on our lives.
