Jack A Friend Sr.

Jack A. Friend Sr, 94 of Kirkwood went to be with his Lord on June 10, 2023.  Jack is predeceased by his loving wife of over 60 years, Beverly Friend, his brother Lou Friend. Jack is survived by his two sons, his brother-in-law Ernie TerBoss. He also leaves behind various nieces and nephews.

Jack was a proud member of the United States Navy. He spent his working career as a truck driver for the New York State D.O.T.  Jack was an active participant in the Kirkwood community at the Kirkwood Historical Society, the Elk’s Lodge and worshiped at Kirkwood United Methodist Church. In his off time, Jack was an avid golfer and was usually seen at Dimmock Hill Golf Course, he also loved to travel the country in his motor home with his wife.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave Binghamton, NY 13903. Interment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park.
