Irving S. Bennett of Binghamton

Irving S. Bennett, died Thursday May 20th, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Bernice Bennett, Binghamton; his children, Diane (John) Hollenbeck, Binghamton; Sharon (Steve) White, Palm Bay, Fla; Reid (Terry ) Bennett, Albuquerque, New Mexico; his grandchildren; Haley and Luke Woods, Alameda Calif; Geoff Bennett, Albuquerque, NM; Justin Dotey, Portland Maine; Michael Harris, Johnson City; and a great grandchild, Piper Harris. Irving served as a Sergeant in the US Army during World War II landing in France on D-Day. He was awarded an American Defense Service Bronze Star Medal in 1945, and the European-African-Middle Eastern Service Bronze Arrowhead Good Conduct Medal in 1943. After the war Irving worked and retired with 32 years of service at IBM Corp .in Endicott. At Irving's request there will be no service. Visit and sign the quest book at parsonsfuneral.com
