Herbert Goldstein

Herbert Goldstein,88, passed away August 25, 2021. He was born in Boston, Mass. on August 27, 1932. As a child he enjoyed Red Sox ball games and his interest in the Red Sox continued through adulthood. As an adult he helped operate a cloth store on Clinton Street. Herbie met his wife Lillian Elcoff in the store. Herbie closed the cloth store due to competition and went to work for the United States Post Office for over fifty years. Herbie also had an interest in antiques. He is survived by his niece Helen Mullinnex, great nieces Sherry Mullinnex and Shiobhan Lane and close family friend Philip Goodman. Graveside services were held August 31,2021 in Beth David Cemetery, Conklin where Herbert was laid to rest alongside his wife Lillian. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
