Gerald Lee Coulter MacBlane, 57, of Binghamton, passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on the morning of May 7th, 2020, after an extended illness. Jerry was a great father and grandpa, and a wonderful loving husband, and a kind, funny, friend to all. He will be dearly missed. One of Jerry's biggest joys were his grandchildren, Kayden and Zelaina. He was predeceased by his mother, Martha, and brother in law, Jimmy. Jerry was survived by his wife of 35 years, Marcia, also by his son, Sean, and daughter in law, whom he loved like his own daughter, Jacinda, and son, Gary, all of Binghamton. Jerry was also survived by his sister in law and brother in law, Midge and Leslie Isaak, niece and nephew Kelly and Christopher Isaak, two brothers Matthew and Morgan MacBlane and sister Dannette MacBlane. He will also be missed by his aunts Sylvia and Marilyn. Jerry MacBlane was a wonderful and gentle man, always such a hard worker who loved working at the city of Binghamton Public Works for 30 years, he was very proud of his job and liked his friends at the city, and we will always be very proud of him. Jerry was taken from us too soon and he will always be missed and loved. Due to the covid-19 outbreak and social distancing there can be no service at this time. Jerry's family is setting up a memorial on his home's front porch at 301 Clinton Street, Binghamton, so friends and family that would like to leave a card of thoughts or anything else, even a memory, would be greatly appreciated. Hug your loved ones today, because tomorrow isn't guaranteed.
