Francisco Alberto Ten, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on January 11, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on March 11, 1943, in Caborca, Sonora, Mexico, Francisco emigrated to the United States, where he became a proud American citizen. He settled in Binghamton, New York, and worked tirelessly as a carpenter at the Broome Developmental Center for over 25 years.
In 1974, Francisco married his beloved wife, Alice Ten, and together they raised two children, Adriana Pratt and Alejandro Ten. As a family man, he cherished the moments spent with his children and took great pride in his four grandchildren: Diego Harlost, Pilar Pratt, Lilia Pratt, and Mateo Pratt. Francisco was preceded in death by: Jesus Ten, Esther Bracamonte. Francisco's love for family was only matched by his passion for the outdoors. He enjoyed gardening, building things, and appreciating the beauty of nature. His artistic spirit also found expression through various creative pursuits, connecting him deeply to the world around him.
Francisco's warm heart extended to animals, and he dedicated time to caring for them. His legacy is one of hard work, deep-rooted love, and an unwavering commitment to his family and community.
