Ribble

DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, LLC.
2:00 - 4:00 pm (Eastern time)
Faye Marie Ribble, 77, of Wake Forest, passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning, June 16, 2026, at Duke University Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer.
Born on June 25, 1948, in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, Faye was the daughter of the late Jesse Charles Kaufmann and Mabel Amelia Hunsinger Kaufmann.
Faye was a devoted member of Hope Lutheran Church, where she found great joy in worship, fellowship, and serving alongside her church family. Whether she was quilting with the Quilting Club, singing in the choir, or volunteering wherever she was needed, she faithfully shared her time and talents with others. While her church family held a special place in her heart, nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with her own family.
She cherished trips to the beach, afternoons playing cards with "the Girls," and the many memories made with those she loved. Faye's kindness, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for others will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Faye is survived by her sons, Tom Ribble of Raleigh and Robert Ribble of Arlington, Virginia; grandchildren, Dylan Ribble of Raleigh and Rowan Ribble of Arlington, Virginia; brother, Richard Kaufmann of Dushore, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law, Gary Ribble and wife, Michele, of Cottage Grove, Wisconsin; sister-in-law, Norma Jackson of Johnson City, New York; along with her extended family and a host of treasured friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas George "Tom" Ribble; grandson, Evan Ribble; brother, Lloyd Kaufmann; and sister, Barbara Welch.
Friends may visit with the family from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at Hope Lutheran Church, 3525 Rogers Road, Wake Forest, NC 27587., followed by the funeral service at 11:30 a.m.
