Ed never met anyone who was not a friend and was always looking forward to getting hugs. He was an avid hockey fan at the Binghamton Arena and did the twist for years during the intermission between the second and third periods. For years he enjoyed watching wrestling and golf on TV and was an avid modified car racing fan. Ed brought so much love to his family and kept his parents "young" by pushing them to go to hockey games, baseball games, music in the park, and many hospital visits. Ed was lovingly cared for by Kerry Ackley and Penney Snyder whom were a huge part of his life for the last 3 years. Kerry took care of his needs and Ed always looked forward to Kerry coming to the house and making him breakfast, Nobody could compete with Kerry's ability to make eggs. But more than that, he treated Ed like a son and they took pride in making fun of each other. Ed will be missed, but he is no longer hurting and has joined his dad and Jesus in heaven. The Lord's timing is perfect, and we are thankful He gave us Ed to love and care for all these years. Funeral services will be private. Ed will be interred in Kattelville Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
