Edith Adams, 92, of Binghamton, passed away October 3, 2017 at the Vestal Park Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Born September 26, 1925 in Saratoga Springs, NY the daughter of the late Verna (Coffinger) and Clayton Edmonson, and wife of the late Charles Adams. Surviving Edith are her daughters; Gail Phillips, of Virgil, NY, Nancy (Dale) Nestlerode, of Endicott, NY, her life partner and soulmate Everett Phillips, four grandchildren; Jamie and Brandon Phillips, and Michael and Amy Nestlerode, four great grandchildren, Jessica, Casey, Shaelin, and Rogan Phillips, as well as several nieces, and nephews. Edie was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to travel, was an avid reader, enjoyed arts and crafts, and loved the ocean and Florida. Christmas at Grammas' house was a favorite time for all her grand and great grandchildren. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to the staff at the memory Care Unit at Vestal Park for the compassionate and loving care given to Edith. At Edith's request there will be no services.
