Our beloved mother E. Jane Dean, 95, passed away July 30, 2018. Jane was proud of the fact she was born in Port Dickinson. She will be remembered for her devilish attitude and impish sense of humor. Jane loved her family, traveling to the Thousand Islands and anything pink. Jane was known for sending anyone a need of a pick me up pink carnations. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Edwin, her parents, Kenneth and Sarah VandeBogart and sister and brother-in-law, Virginia and George Martin. Jane is survived by her children, Kathy and James Marean, Binghamton and Lori Driscoll, Clay, NY and three treasured granddaughters, Tara (Shannon) Marean Parks, Durham, NC, Alicia (Matthew) McGowan, Endicott and Erin Marean and Nathan Sakovitch, Endicott, great grandchildren, Kate, Samantha and Joseph McGowan and Dean Parks. She leaves behind her cousins, the Cornell Family, Binghamton, nephews and niece from both the Dean and Martin families and her best friend from high school, Josephine Ganisin, Binghamton. The family would like to extend special thanks to Linda Ballard for Jane’s care for the past five years. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Mark Kimpland officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the time of services. Interment will follow in Chenango Valley Cemetery.
