Duane E Adee

Duane Edward Adee, 73, of Binghamton passed away peacefully Sunday, November 10, 2019. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 46 years Joyce Ann Chamberlain Adee, parents and siblings. Duane is survived by his children, Jenn and George Wilmot, Melissa Adee-Doane and partner David Phelps, William and Tara Adee, Brandon and Amy Adee, Eve and Craig Baker, Brian “Bud” Adee and son-in-law, Robert Doane, treasured grandchildren, Deanna and Tyler Proper, Devin, Derrick, Anthony, Hunter, Alicia, Jocelyn-Eve, Genevieve and Geordan, great-granddaughter Serenity Proper. We cannot forget to remember his beloved fur baby Corkie, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Duane was born September 24, 1946 in Cooperstown, New York. He later met his wife Joyce in Oneonta where they started their family and eventually moved to the Southern Tier area. He wore many different hats in the working world. His passion was Criminal Justice and supporting his family. Duane will be missed by all that knew him. His family would like to especially thank the staff at Post-Acute Medical (PAM) of Wilkes-Barre General Hospital, his special nursing staff, Gail, Seranda, Erica, Shelby and Kevin, and very special aide, Mary. Memorial services will be held 6:00pm , Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until the time of services.
