Drury "Dru" Embry

Drury "Dru" Elwood Embry, born on June 15th, 1948, in Hopkinsville Kentucky; passed on to be with his Lord Jesus on September 8th, 2021. Dru embodied the definition of what a loving husband and father should strive to be. He was an incredibly optimistic and selfless character; a dedicated, hard worker and provider; a natural born musician, singer, comedian, and extravagant storyteller; an absolute selfless and compassionate man, who loved his wife with his entire being for 35 years. His children and grandchildren were the pride & great joy of his life. He accepted everyone he met, and everyone that met him left with a joyful memory they’d never forget. Dru brought a unique and exciting perspective to life, like no other, and he will be missed beyond comprehension. He lives on through his wife, Kim Embry, his children, Jenny-Rebecca Embry, Elizabeth Embry, Thomas Embry, his stepson Michael Peterson, his grandchildren Seth Embry and Roman Peterson; his sister Connie Cranor and brother-in-law Morris Cranor & their children GinnyAnn and Chuck; and brother and sister-in -law, Paul Manuszewski and Sasha Fassett and their children Julian and Zoë.
