Doris Rafferty

Doris Marie Rafferty, 70, joined her heavenly Father Saturday, May 13, 2017. She was a graduate of Binghamton Central High School and Binghamton School of Practical Nursing. Doris worked as a nurse for UHS at Binghamton General Hospital for 30 years. She loved animals, especially dogs and cats, her home and her automobile. Doris enjoyed reading, riding her 10 speed bike, sailing, crafts, cross country skiing and craft fairs. Doris is predeceased by her close friends Leta Griffeth and Joseph Gould. Leta is survived by Sharon Gould, Binghamton and Jackie Buchta, Vestal and her faithful furry companion, Jasmine. Funeral services will be held 7:00 pm, Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Jeff Aiosa officiating. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm. Interment will be 10:00 am, Thursday, May 18, 2017 in Vestal Park Cemetery.
