Doris Llewellyn Dubrick, of Myrtle Beach, died on September 29, 2011.  She was born in 1916, in Pittston, PA, the youngest of eleven children of John and Mary Llewellyn. She was predeceased by her husband, Roy Dubrick, and all of her siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son in law, Doris (Dolly) and Stewart Walls, Pawleys Island, SC. grandchildren, Heather Walls, Denver, CO, Katherine Tremblay, Nottingham, NH, Elizabeth Walls, Cinnaminson, NJ, and great grandchildren, Abigail and Sydney Tremblay. She learned to "close a sale", as a young girl when she obtained printing orders for the family business in Pittston.  This skill came in handy when she wanted roller skates or a bike.  She was a terrific saleslady and was affectionately known as " The Hat Lady" around Binghamton. Doris was active in the Girl Scouts, was Charter President of the Endwell Newcomer's Club, and directed the Childrens' Theater Council in Binghamton, NY,  where she and her husband lived until they moved to Myrtle Beach in 1976. She loved to entertain, travel, and  make friends. Her advise was to "ride your camels while you can". She will be sorely missed. An hour of calling will be held Wednesday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.  Funeral Services will be at 2:30 p.m. with the Reverend Stephen Heiss officating atthe Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home,71 Main Street in  Binghamton, NY. internment will follow at Vestal Hills memorial Park. A memorial service in Pawleys Island will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
