Dolores (Vizvary) Daniels, 85, passed away peacefully on April 23, 2017 after a painful battle with breast cancer. She was predeceased by her husband, Peter A. Daniels, in January; her brother, Francis Vizvary; and many beloved friends from her youth with whom she spent some of the happiest times of her life. She is survived by her daughter, Eve Daniels; sister-in-law, Sandra Vizvary and family; and brother-in-law, Jack (Barbara) Daniels. Writing was her lifelong passion and she won several awards for her poetry and essays. Dolores planned four residences, three of which became her homes at different stages of her life. Books were her special treasures. Her vegetable garden was a source of great pride until injuries sustained in an automobile accident forced her to limit many of her activities. However, her fiercely independent spirit and keen intellect sustained her lively interest in many diverse subjects throughout her life. Her memory will be cherished forever. The family thanks Lourdes Hospice at Home for their assistance during her final illness. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
