Danny M Shepherd

Danny M. Shepherd, 75, of the Town of Binghamton reunited with his wife on September 16, 2023.

Danny is predeceased by his wife Debra Ann Shepherd, his parents Marvin and Pearl Jean Shepherd, stepfather Kenneth Bockhorst, brothers Calvin Shepherd, Rodney Shepherd, Lonnie Shepherd, and nephew Marvin Shepherd. Danny is survived by his daughters Danee (Andrew) Breznay, Casey (Jesse Schoentube) Shepherd.

Danny was a proud member of the United States Navy and served two tours during the Vietnam War. He was a passionate model airplane enthusiast spending time flying in his younger years. Danny was an avid animal lover who nurtured many four-legged friends. Many of mornings, you could catch Danny sitting at Manni’s Donuts enjoying a bacon, egg and cheese on a hard roll (or English muffin), Extra bacon, light mayo with a glass of water and apple juice.

Military honors will be held at 4:00 pm, Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4:15 pm until 7:00 pm following military honors. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to Camp Barkalot or the Broome County Humane Society.
