Daniel Schenck

Daniel D. Schenck, 27, of Cortland, NY passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022. He was born on May 13, 1994, the son of Roxanne Noble and the late Lynn D. Schenck II. Daniel is survived by his mother, Roxanne Noble, his sister, Heaven (Edgard) Martinez, and niece Emilie Martinez. He leaves behind many aunts and cousins who greatly loved him. He was predeceased by his father, Lynn D Schenck II. Daniel was employed as a Supervisor at Little Caesars where he made several good friends. He graduated from Homer High School in 2013 and was involved in several extra-curricular activities. Daniel threw discus for the Homer High School Track Team and was involved in both theater and choir. He studied martial arts, achieving the advanced blue belt rank. Daniel graduated Tompkins Cortland Community College with an AA in General Studies and participated in theater. He then graduated once more from SUNY Cortland College, achieving a BA in Political Science. Daniel greatly loved animals, music, martial arts and video games. During his childhood he enjoyed playing video games with his sister and close cousin, Julian Coville. He was a dependable and hard-working person. A celebration of life was held on January 22, 2022, at the VFW on Main Street in Cortland, NY, where his close friends and family gathered to pay their respects. Daniel will be missed immensely.
