Daniel James Montgomery

Daniel James Montgomery, 43, passed away unexpectedly July 12, 2021. Dan was a caring man, who loved to laugh. He was always ready to help others. Dan and his brothers Fred and Rob were inseparable and shared a bond which will never be broken. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. He was predeceased by his mother, Linda Montgomery, uncles Bill and Rick Nichols. Daniel is survived by his children, Danielle, Seth, Max, Mateya, Daniel and Cameron Montgomery and 4 treasured grandchildren. He leaves behind father, Fred (Robin) Montgomery, Sr, sister and brother-in-law, Faye and Dave Stout, brothers and sisters-in-law, Fred (Tracy) Montgomery, Jr and Rob (Hillary) Montgomery, aunts and uncles, Penny and Mike Chaffee, Joyce Montgomery, John Montgomery, Paul Montgomery, Jim (Marie) Montgomery and Jerry Montgomery, many cousins and friends. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, July 17, 2021 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binmghamton with the Reverend Dr. Steve Chastain officiating. Dan will be interred alongside his mother following in Spring Forest Cemetery following services. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 9:00 am until the time of services.
