Craig Alan Titus, 69, passed away after a brief illness on February 7, 2026. He was a proud father, grandfather, brother, coach, and a true friend to many. Known for his willingness to help others and his ever‑present dad jokes, Craig found his greatest peace outdoors-whether in the woods, on a skating rink, fishing at Aqua‑Terra, climbing mountains in Colorado, or skiing down slopes in Vermont.
These adventures were always accompanied by his favorite playlist-most often The Grateful Dead-whose music brought him deep comfort and lasting meaning throughout his life. Above all, Craig's greatest pride and joy were his children and grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, a genuine spirit, and a reminder to always enjoy the ride. GO YANKEES!
Craig is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Cory) Rose of Westminster, CO; daughter, Kayla (Dan) Chase of Nazareth, PA; son, Maxwell Titus of Norwich, NY; and daughter, Stella Titus of Norwich, NY. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Natalee, Maya, Sawyer, and Michael; sisters, Gail (Gene) Domin of Conklin, NY and Terri Kilcy of Binghamton, NY; and many cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Harland M. Titus; his mother, Betty Ruth (Kunsman) Titus; his beloved sister, Lisa Titus; and brother-in-law James Kilcy.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 1 at 11:30 am at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton, NY 13903. Following the service, we will celebrate Craig's life at Thirsty's from 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Please bring your stories and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Sierra Club or simply go out and enjoy the outdoors in his honor.
