Craig Steven Siskin 64 of Conklin, New York passed peacefully on May 21 surrounded by family after a brief battle with cancer. Craig was a dedicated father, husband, brother, and son

Born and raised in Vestal, New York, Craig graduated from Vestal Hills in 1978 and earned a B.S. in Human Resources from SUNY Buffalo. Craig spent his life dedicated to managing and guiding people while setting the highest standards. Past employees consider him a mentor and friend, bringing out the best in people. Long-time employees were often referred to as “Craig’s kids” and have been part of our family for years; their recent visit brought him joy.

His wife, Laura, was his rock. They were bashert. Married for 39 years, they built a full life. Their love created four children and four grandchildren. Day in and day out, they showed their tireless unwavering love.

Craig was a dedicated and fun-loving father. He worked hard for his family, striving to provide for us all, teaching us to value hard work, kindness, and dedication. He was always up for an adventure, giving Mom a much-needed break. He taught us that the simplest moments can sometimes be the best experiences; we never missed a free fireworks display.

He is survived by his wife Laura and their children Aryeal Jackson (Anthony), Scott Siskin (Victoria), Katie Mazzarella (Ethan) and Sam Siskin (Meghan), his grandchildren Luca, Atlas, Maisie and Eloise, his siblings Jodi Volmert (Kenny) and Barry Siskin, and his nieces and nephew. He is predeceased by his parents Jack and Ester Siskin.

Funeral service will be held on Friday May 23, 2025 at 10:30am at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York 13903.
