Cindy Marie Boigeol

d. December 9, 2021

Cindy Marie Bullock Boigeol passed away peacefully at Lourdes Hospital December 9, 2021 at the age of 66 after listening to her favorite song, American Pie, one last time. She may have thought she had been abducted by aliens with everyone looking crazy in all of their PPE and funny voices but no, it was her beloved family by her side. She was the loving mother to Jessica (Chad) King of Pittsburgh, PA, Stachia Boigeol Finch of Binghamton, Sharla (Chris) Connelly of Elmira, precious Grandmother to Regan, Connor, Nicholas and Kelsey Adamski of Pittsburgh, PA and Marie, Cassandra, Stachia and Anna Johnson of Elmira and cherished sister to Judy (Kevin) Doherty of Endicott, Penny Barker (Steve Carmon) of Endicott and Vicky (George) Honour of Binghamton, all who survive. She is also survived by her life partner of 31 years, Richard Conklin of Brackney, PA, his parents Carol and Tim Van Vorce of Binghamton and his sister Carrie (John) Knapp of Virginia, all who loved her dearly. Also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and friends who were like family all of whom she loved and will miss her. She was preceded in death by her mother Marie Bullock and her father Alvie Bullock. Cindy most loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. She enjoyed cooking, reading, doing crafts, making ornaments for her family every Christmas and playing games on her iPad. She made the best Christmas cookies, had the greatest family Christmas Eve parties and didn’t put up with anyone’s BS! She was a firecracker to be sure. She also had a big heart, a smile that made you smile back and said I love you before hanging up the phone, going to bed or leaving your company every time so you’d never forget. She was funny, loving and generous, even when you “drove her up a wall”. She was a bright star whose light and kindness touched the hearts of many throughout her life and she will be forever missed by all of us who love her. DeMunn Funeral Home will be providing all end of life services. At Cindy’s request, there will be no formal service. Instead, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in her honor may be made to your favorite charity.
