Charles "Musa" Williams was born July 24, 1966 to the late Charlie and Virginia Williams passed away November 29, 2021. Musa will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle and friend. As a child he traveled back and forth between New York and South Carolina. Musa was raised by his aunt and uncle, Betty and Marion. He attended Boys and Girls High School in Brooklyn and then went on to Job Corps where he studied masonry. His main career was as a Master Barber. Musa was the founder and owner of Blazin' Cutz for over 20 years. He was active in the community, as a volunteer for STAP as well as donating his time and talent by providing back to school hair cuts for kids and for those who served time at the county jail. He was predeceased by sisters, Chanel Williams and Cinethia Woodward. Musa is survived by his children; Jr, Quentin (Akea) Duncan of Georgetown, SC, Shaheem Williams, Sr. and Shakyla Williams of Durham, NC, Raheem Williams of Mesa, AZ, Monica McManus, Amya Ryan, Mia Ryan, Dominic Ryan, Sugar Williams and Cinnamon Williams of Binghamton, four treasured grandchildren; Zakiyah Williams, Zamari Williams, Shaheem Williams, Jr and Lauryn Harper. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his sisters; Gail Williams, Brooklyn, Tanya Burns, Binghamton, Roslyn Sumpter, Cynthia Hawkins and Nanette Myers all of Georgetown, SC, brothers; Shameek Williams, Lateek Williams, Tislam Williams, Barsheem Williams and Gary Hill, as well as many nieces, nephews, a large extended family and many, many friends. Family will receive friends 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm, Monday, December 6, 2021 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
