Charles "Chuckie" Slocum, 55, passed away his home June 30, 2026. Chuckie loved and cherished his children with a strength and joy that filled his heart and world. He would tell you with pride and awe that they were the best thing he ever did and that they were the greatest blessing in his life.

He loved to fish with his kids and friends, going to Tioga Downs "just for a little while", playing poker with his gang, playing games with Craig, Meghan and Ashlyn filling our home with love and laughter.

We can't even begin to explain what a wonderful man Chukie was. As our hearts break, all of his wonderful memories, all of his kind and loving ways, they helping hand he was always willing to give will settle into our hearts and help us remember and cherish him. We loved him more then he could have ever known. The world lost a truly kind and gentle soul. Now Craig and Meghan will carry all of who Chuckie was into the future.

We are comforted knowing he is in heaven, pain free and healthy with all those who have gone before him.

Chuckie was predeceased by his mother Janet L. Brown, father Charles Owen Slocum III, all of his grandparents and many dear aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is survived by his adored children, Craig (Ashlyn) Slocum, Meghan Slocum, and step-daughter Krystin Fairchild, sisters; JoEllen (John) Rutherford, Elizabeth "Boop" Slocum, Becky (Chuck) Crooks, DeLayna Baxter and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends and Lisa Slocum.
