Charles H. Jones of Binghamton   Charles H. Jones, 86, of Binghamton became a victim of Covid-19 on December 9, 2020.  He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Eloise, son Christopher C. Jones, daughter Colleen Crane, and grandchildren Megan Miller, Bethany Miller, Garrett Miller and Benjamin Crane. He was predeceased by his daughter Tracy Miller and parents Dorothy Jones and John F. Jones. In addition Charles leaves his siblings, Leigh & Eleanor Jones, Jack & Carole Jones, James Jones, Linda & Bill Aptt and sister-in-law Jean Garrehy, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.  After retiring from Grand Union with 43 years of service, Charles enjoyed bicycling, having last ridden in September.  He built doll houses and other miniatures for his family, and had an extensive model car collection. He and Eloise enjoyed traveling in the southwest and shared a memorable vacation to the Grand Canyon and other National Parks with the entire family.  And we gathered many happy times at Chincoteague, Virginia. Charles lived for his family, and always put them first.  He instilled in his children the strong work ethic with which he was raised. He was a man of faith and love, and we will miss him.  No services will be held at this time. Please visit ParsonsFuneral.com to offer your condolences.
