Carol Gibson

Carol Gibson, 68, went into the comforting arms of our Holy Father in Heaven, June 2, 2017 after a long courageous battle with cancer. She is survived by her soulmate and wife of 42 years, Alice and their son Bill Westwood of Williston, Fla. She leaves behind by her biological family who she was able to find and get to know over the past twenty years and her best friends Doug and Denny, who were very instrumental in her care and wellbeing. Carol retired from Verizon Communications after thirty years of service. She was also the owner of Bottle Babes Redemption Center in Vestal, NY. A special thanks to Tania for her hard work and loyalty to Bottle Babes. Carol was an animal lover, she enjoyed her horses and her four legged friends, especially little Poncho. Carol’s family would like to thank all those who offered support and prayers during her illness and to the staff of Roswell Park in Buffalo and Dr. Skitzki. A memorial service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday, June 10, 2017 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of service.
