Brian Moore

It is with both sadness and celebration of a life well-lived that we announce the passing of Brian Moore, who concluded his hard-fought battle with cancer on September 2, 2025. He passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by the loving embrace of family.

Brian was born on December 8, 1963, and was predeceased by his cherished parents, Floyd and Frances Moore, along with his beloved siblings: Harriet Edwards, Jean Lyons, Floyd Moore Jr., Jeffrey Moore, and Timothy Moore. He is survived by his devoted sister Irene (Kenneth) Griswold, his brother Richard Moore, and his half-sister Maryann Travis, along with a large extended family who mourn his loss and celebrate his life.

An avid outdoorsman, Brian had a profound love for fishing and hunting. He was passionate about landscaping and took great pride in caring for his property. Though he lived a simple life, his heart was big, and he was always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. A true lover of country music, Brian enjoyed hosting gatherings at his home, where friends and family would come together to share laughter and create memories.

Funeral services will be announced at a later date, with details to follow for all who wish to pay their respects. The family wishes to express their heartfelt gratitude to extended family members Brad Edwards and Kevin Fuller for their constant care and support during Brian's journey, as well as to Guthrie Lourdes Hospice for ensuring his comfort in his final days.
