Bonita Hubbert, age 70, passed away on July 27, 2026. While her passing was sudden, her life was one filled with love, laughter, and cherished moments that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Bonita was a devoted mother to Jenneeka Evans, Cortez Evans, and Frankie Hubbert, and a proud and loving grandmother to Shaniqua, Lakeisha, and Supreme Johnson; DeJuanTayson, Shadiamond, Shawn, Cortez, and Shantasia Evans; and Frankie, Nyajia, JazminNevaehDamarionDamyr, Daliana, Shaleigha, Giovanni, and Jasiah Hubbert; and Shirmirah Watkins. She also leaves behind her beloved great-grandchildren, Aniya Holton; Atreus, Shea and Kai Evans; extended family members, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory.

She was the beloved daughter of Eva Mae Kendrick and Jim Hubbert and a cherished sister to Willie J., Mary, Sonny, Allen, and Ken Hubbert; Maretha Robinson; Betty Collins; Alisa and Daniel Reynolds; James Edward, Bradford, and Ronnie Kendrick; and Herbie and Zona Smith; and Darryl Parker . Family was at the center of Bonita's life, and she treasured the relationships she shared with them.

Bonita had a vibrant spirit that could brighten any room. She enjoyed spending her time doing puzzles, decorating her apartment to make it feel warm and welcoming, choosing her next stylish outfit and relaxing while watching her favorite television shows and stories.

What truly made Bonita unforgettable was her strong and lively personality. She had a contagious energy and a smile that could light up a room. At every family gathering, everyone knew they could count on seeing Bonita on the dance floor. Whether the music had just started or the celebration was winding down, she was always ready to dance, laugh, and create lasting memories with those she loved. Her joyful spirit brought people together, and her presence made every occasion feel a little more special.

Though our hearts are heavy with her passing, we are grateful for the countless moments of love, laughter, and strength she shared with us, including the blessing of celebrating her 70th birthday just a few months before her passing. We will forever cherish those memories. Her love and legacy will continue to live on through her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and everyone whose lives she touched.

Funeral Service will be Thursday August 6, 2026 at 12:00 pm at DeMunn Funeral Home and Cremation Service 36 Conklin Avenue Binghamton, New York 13903 with burial to follow at Spring Forrest Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until time of service.

Bonita will be deeply missed, forever loved, and always remembered.
