Our beloved Mother Annette Louise Elwood (Rouse) born May 22, 1949 to Louise and Edwin Rouse of Endicott NY passed away peacefully in her home, November 3rd 2026, she was 77. Annette is survived by her children April Austin (John), Bobby Austin (Myriam), Jamie Austin (Lisa), Jody Austin and Jennifer Lanpher (JR) her grandchildren, Chelsea, Amanda and Robert Austin, Ashton Daugherty, Haley Austin, Lacey Austin, Grace, Zack and Avery Lanpher and great granddaughter Josie. Her brothers Edwin Rouse (Mary Jane), William Puckey (Heidi), Mark Birchard (Daisy) and Keith Willis (Brenda), along with many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, and siblings: Raymond Rouse (Linda), Carol Delle Fave, James Rouse (BJ), Alan Rouse (Jeannie), April Knapp and David Rouse.

Mom loved playing board and card games, if you dared try her at scrabble you know-she especially loved winning! Lilacs were her favorite flower, she couldn't resist pulling the car over to pick a bundle on the side of a road. She adored gardening, the promise of Spring flowers and the hope they brought of the warm summer sun so she could sit on her porch with a cup of coffee and a visit from friends and family. Those were her most cherished days.

Mom was very talented at music, singing and playing her organ, writing her own hymns and songs for Jesus.

She was a career "diner" waitress by choice, arguably the best. Her regular customers became friends and followed her wherever she went, delighting in her great service skills but mostly the endless laughs.
