Ana L. Diaz, 83, left her physical life on earth to her eternal glory in Heaven on February 8, 2021. She was predeceased by her parents, Nicasio and Andrea Diaz, her brother Rigoberto Diaz, sister Norma Diaz and grandson Daniel Diaz. Ana is survived by her sons, José (Edna) Rivera, Santos (Andrea) Rivera, Damaso (Debbie) Diaz, Luís (Zorraida) Gonzalez and Ramon Speller, daughters Carmen (Westley) VanDunk and Andrea (Isander) Plaza, her siblings, Frank (Evelyn) Diaz, José (Maria) Diaz, Ramon Diaz, Monserrate Diaz, Lucy (John) Holland and Hector Diaz. Ana also had numerous, loving grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews that she loved and held dear to her heart. The women in the Diaz family are known to be fiercely strong, and Ana was no exception. The first of nine children, it was no surprise that she also helped raise many of her younger siblings, nieces, and nephews. Ana had a beautiful voice, and you may have been lucky enough to have heard her sing some of her favorite Spanish boleros. She loved to dance, cook, garden, and socialize. Ana was a breath of fresh air and a good time, keeping everyone around her laughing with her great sense of humor. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile and joyful spirit. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, she was loved beyond words and will be missed beyond measure. Memorial services will be private.
