Amy D. Plutino

d. November 27, 2020

Amy Denise Plutino,63, entered into eternal peace in the comfort of her home Friday, November 27, 2020. Amy was born on March 29, 1957, a daughter of the late Joseph, N. Plutino and the late Mary E. Plutino. She is survived by her siblings Diana, Mary Jo, Beth, Paul and Charles. Amy was also preceded in death by her children's father the late Dana E. Houck Jr. Amy had five children, the late Joseph L. Plutino, Geno Plutino, the late Michelle Houck, Dana Houck III, and Christina Houck. Amy was a very driven and smart individual who had obtained her Bachelor's Degree with honors from Wilkes University, all while raising four children as a single parent. She worked tirelessly to give her children a loving home. Amy was strong, courageous and never went down without a fight. She was fiercely independent and some may say down right stubborn. Yet she more than made up for it with her huge and generous heart and empathy towards others. She was a loving soul who wanted the best for others. Amy was a passionate Chicago Cubs and New Orleans Saints fan. She enjoyed watching the games and relaxing with her family. She truly learned to appreciate the little things, especially later in life. Amy will now rejoin her lost loved ones, something she spoke often about, may she rest in peace and her spirit live on forever. Graveside services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, December 4, 2020 in Windsor Village Cemetery, Maple Ave and New Street, Windsor. To forward condolences please visit www.demunn.com.
