Alma (Sue) Jean Reynolds

d. December 5, 2018

With much sadness in our hearts we had to say goodbye to Sue as she left this world and entered the next on Wednesday, December 5th. Sue was predeceased by her parents Richard Carman (2/05/2011) and Ida Carman (09/20/2001). She was also predeceased by several brothers and a sister, Neal Carman Sr. (07/20/2010) Dicky and Frank Carman aged 8 and 6 respectively in 1961 from a house fire and sister, Penny Lesnick (12/03/1994). She leaves behind many loved ones including her love of 29 years Doug Decker, her eldest stepson Doug Decker jr. (Rachelle Alexander) and their children, twins Doug and Eden, Keven, Jael, and Keira, eldest biological son Fred Carman, son James Reynolds (Lisa Reynolds) and their children, Brittany, Eddie, Trenton, and Zach and youngest son Anthony Reynolds (Shannon Henry) and their children, Lily, Malachi, Alex, Christian, and Xander. She also leaves behind more beloved  brothers and sisters, Lena Shaff, Ken Carman, Bob Carman, Patty Rockwell, Sylvia Riley, and Lyman Carman, and many other special family members.     Sue grew up in Newark Valley, where she attended the local Newark Valley school district with her brothers and sisters. From a young age she developed a great love for all things Elvis, dolphins, Betty Boop, and the cute but mischievous tweety bird. She enjoyed collecting things related to all that she loved but mostly she loved collecting pictures of her beloved children, and then grandchildren, and the memories she made with them. Sue spent her life caring not only for those that came from her, but for all that were fortunate enough to know her. Her absence will be deeply felt by many but she will live on through many cherished memories.
