Alan H. Masarsky,58,of Vestal, passed away Sunday April 17th, 2011 surrounded by his family and friends at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, after a short illness.
Born December 1,1952 in Binghamton, the son of the Late Rose and Samuel Masarsky.
Alan was a lifelong resident of the area. Alan graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelors Degree in Marketing. Mr. Masarsky worked for over thirty years for the A.M. Pierson Company retiring as the General Manager. Alan most recently worked as a Retail manager for Jacks Links, Inc. Alan was an avid golfer "that's an understatement" , and a member of the Vestal Hills Country Club .
Surviving Alan are his loving companion of over twenty years Patsy L. Dow, many close friends, as well as extended family.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday April 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ernest H. Parsons Funeral Home 71 Main Street, Binghamton, NY, with Rabbi Tziona Szajman officiating. Internment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery.
