Martha Cook Shearer

Martha Cook Shearer of Conklin Martha Cook Shearer, 93, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2010. She was predeceased by husbands, Murel Cook and Henry Shearer, son, Seth Cook and all seven of her Schiffer siblings. Martha is survived by son, Leland and Maureen Cook, Conklin and daughter, Clara and John Banach, Nicholls, GA., seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Martha retired from the Binghamton Psychiatric Center after 25 years of service. She was an active member of the Conklin and Kirkwood Senior Citizens Clubs. Martha’s family would like to thank the staff of Gracious Living Estates, Montrose for the compassionate care shown during her stay. Memorial services will be held 3:00 pm, Friday, November 19, 2010 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend William Puckey officiating.
