Valerie E. Fish

Valerie E. Fish of Binghamton Valerie E. Fish, 54, died peacefully Sunday, September 12, 2010, after a long illness. She will be remembered as a sweetheart with a wonderful giggle. Valerie was predeceased by her mother, Majorie E. Fish; and a brother, Lloyd H. Fish, Jr. She is survived by her father, Lloyd H. Fish, Endicott; brother, Jeffrey (Maria) Fish, Endicott; sisters, Linda (Peter) Dabulewicz, Harpursville and Susan E. Fish, Endicott; many nieces, nephews and her special family at the Broome Developmental Center. Through the years, Valerie enjoyed participating in therapeutic horseback riding, various outings and the Special Olympics games. The family would like to thank the entire staff of the BDC for the outstanding care they provided Valerie for most of her life. Special thanks to Sandy Sheridan for her hard work and efforts to give Valerie the best medical care and to the doctors and staff at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 16, 2010, at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend Michael Shank officiating. Family will receive friends from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to services. Interment will follow services in Vestal Park Cemetery, Vestal.
