Geraldine “Geri” Parsons of Port Dickinson Geraldine “Geri” Parsons, 102, went peacefully to rejoin her husband, Saturday, August 21, 2010. Geri loved her family and friends and she will be missed by all. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years, Richard Parsons; daughter, Romayne Parker; her parents, Clara and Daniel Cron; brother, Dwight Cron and sisters; Irene Russell and Emma Savory. Geri is survived by her loving son, Daniel and his wife, Suzanne Parsons, Binghamton; sister, Edna Hampton, Spring Hill, FL; four grandchildren and their spouses, Kim and Jim Quick, Staatsburg, NY, Christine Titus, Hagerstown, MD, Daniel and Diana Parsons, Puyallup, WA and David Parsons, Binghamton. She leaves behind nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren and several special nieces, nephews and cousins. Geri’s family would like to thank Deborah Payne, her home care giver and the staff of Willow Point Nursing Home for all their love and care. Funeral services will be held 4:00 pm, Sunday, August 29, 2010 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with the Reverend John Martinichio officiating. Family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00pm. Interment in Vestal Hills Memorial Park will be 10:00 am at the graveside.
