Sharon A. Doane

Sharon A. Doane of Conklin Sharon A. Doane, 60,passed away peacefully on July 3, 2010 after a courageous 13 year battle with ovarian cancer.  She was an inspirations to many and will be dearly missed. Sharon was born in Moscow, PA.  She was predeceased by her loving mother, Etta Musgrave and her brother Floyd (Junior).  She is survived by her loving husband of 31 years, Doug, and her sons, Roger, Gordon and Greg, her grand-daughter Kara and husband Shane Sisson and Sharon's precious great-grandson Hunter Briggs.  Sharon was an Office Manager (FLMI) at Prudential-West State Street.  She was a member of the Belden Hill Golf Club, where she served as the Couples League Treasurer and was loved by so many.Sharon enjoyed her pets, gardening, reading and bird watching.  Friends are invited to a celebration of Sharon's life at 2:00 pm, Tuesday, July 6, 2010 at the Belden Hill Golf Club on Route 7 in Harpursville. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Sharon's Great Grandson's Education Trust, please contact family for information.
