Jane Sternberg

Jane Sternberg, 78, passed away Saturday, December 26, 2009, at her home. She was predeceased by her husband, Otto Sternberg; and her parents, Milton and Ellen Cady. Jane is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Lois Sternberg, Bainbridge, Mark and Kathy Sternberg, Binghamton; and daughter, Diane Gresham, Windsor; treasured grandsons, Jesse Sternberg, Rochester and Eric Sternberg, Saranac Lake. She leaves behind brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Evelyn Cady, Binghamton; sisters and brothers-in-law, Joy and Darryl Krewson, Johnson City, Linda and Alan Grannis, Kirkwood, Ruth Colgan, Windsor and Dotty Martinichio, Colonial Heights, VA. The family wishes to thank Carissa Foraker for her loving and devoted care of Jane during this last year. Jane was the eldest of eight children. Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 29, 2009, at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton. Interment will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 30th, in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Tuesday prior to services.
