Nina Ruth Mock

Our beloved mother Nina R. Mock, 78, passed away Sunday, October 2, 2016. Nina was a caring person who devoted much of her time to helping her close friends and others in need. She dedicated herself to making others happy. Nina worked for many years as a Nurse’s Aide at Willow Point. She was a very active member of Ross Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Mock, Jr., son, Robert Mock III, sisters, Jesse Hurst and Elsie Kennedy and brother, Jack Inns. Nina is survived by her children, Debra and Gary McAvoy, Conklin and KC Mock, Vestal, treasured grandchildren, Alex McAvoy, Binghamton, Daniel and Kiley McAvoy, Conklin, Heather and Greg Horton, Binghamton and five great grandsons. She leaves behind sister and brother-in-law, Edith and Herman of Fayetteville, NC, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Nancy and Charles Harrison, Vestal and a large extended family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Friday, October 7, 2016 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Michael Krembs officiating. Entombment will follow services in Vestal Hills Memorial Park. Family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, October 6, 2016 from 3:00 until 6:00 pm.
