Max Rolston, 77, passed away Monday, August 8, 2016. He was a warm and thoughtful husband, he purchased many a backhoe, chain saw and skid steer for his beloved wife. The farm was his pride and joy and only made better when he could share it with his grandkids. Max will be remembered by his family and friends for the Sunday breakfasts he hosted for the past fifty years. His children met many a stranger who told them they met their Dad at one of his breakfasts. Max was retired from Local 112 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union.
He was predeceased by sisters, Leatha Hoover, Beverly Samuels, Ruth Hugaboom, Shirley Cipolla and Gertrude Rose. Max is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Bonita, children; George and Rocky DiFrancesco, Friendsville, Pa., Brenda and Henry Frisbie, Conklin and Nicholas and Kaitlyn Schneider, Binghamton, treasured grandchildren; Marina, Theodore, Josephine, Emily, Harley and Megan. He leaves behind siblings; George Rolston, Warren Center, Pa., Robert Rolston, Binghamton, Jean and Robert Donlin, West Windsor, Patricia Lasher, Washington, Raymond and Doreen Rolston, Binghamton and a large extended family.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Monday, August 15, 2016 at the Conklin Forks United Methodist Church, 4420 Brady Hill Road, Binghamton with the Reverend David Piatt officiating, Interment will follow services in Hawleyton Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
