Our beloved mother, Marjorie L. Kitchen, 85, passed away Thursday, August 4, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. Marge will be remembered by many as a kind and thoughtful person. Always wearing a smile, she had a kind word for everyone. She was a devoted and active member of the High Street United Methodist Church. She was predeceased by her husband, Willard “Bill” Kitchen and brother, George Case. Marge is survived by her children; Ken and Karen Kitchen, Conklin and Bob and Paulette Kitchen, Apalachin, treasured grandchildren; Jason Kitchen, Nicole and Charles Hopkins, Korey Kitchen and Katie Kitchen. She leaves behind brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Eileen Case, Mountain Top, Pa. and her church family. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Monday, August 8, 2016 at the High Street United Methodist Church, 1288 Vestal Avenue, Binghamton with Pastor Ben O’Connor officiating. Interment will follow services in Spring Forest Cemetery. Family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at church on Monday and from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton.
