Our beloved husband and father, Bradley Freeman, 69, passed away unexpectedly Friday, June 24, 2016, Brad proudly served his country in National Guard. Upon returning from the service he worked at Vail- Ballou Press for over thirty years, he then became a Correctional Officer for New York State at age 57 until he retired. Presently he was employed by Maines Paper in Conklin as a security officer. Brad was a member of the BPOE for over 25 years. He was predeceased by his parents Leslie and Doris Freeman. Brad is survived by his wife of 51 years, Doris, daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Sean Jewell-Freeman, Binghamton, grandsons: Ryan and Devon Jewell-Freeman and great-grandson, Nolan Jewell-Freeman. He leaves behind in-laws, Robert Schilling, Conklin, Martin and Denise Schilling, Binghamton and Charles MaryEllen Schilling, Binghamton, uncle and aunt, John and Lois Barnes, Meshoppen, Pa., nieces and nephews; Robert John, Terra, Danielle, Caylene, Kelsey and Garrett, a large extended family and many friends. A celebration of Brad’s life will be held 1:00 pm, Monday, June 27, 2016 at Conklin Forks United Methodist Church, 4420 Brady Hill Road, Binghamton with the Reverend Lee Prong officiating. Family will receive friends from 11:00 am until the time of services.
