James “Jim” Blaisure, 64, passed away Monday, March 07, 2016 after a courageous battle with melanoma. Jim was the quintessential outdoorsman. He loved snowmobiling, four wheeling, fishing and hunting. He worked as a bartender in the triple cities area for over 40 years and recently a truck driver for Bothar Construction. He was predeceased by his father, Martin and brother, Bobby. Jim is survived by his mother, Alma Blaisure, Binghamton, brother, Charles Blaisure, Meshoppen, Pa., his children, Jaclyn Evans and Joshua Blaisure, several nieces and nephews, cousins, Jeanie and Dick Herman, Laceyville, Pa. Helen Crump and Earl Beebe, Lawrenceville, Ga. and Susie and Rodney Day, Palm Bay, Fla. He leaves behind his loving partner and caretaker, fiancée Linda Fletcher-King, Sylvan Beach. Funeral services will be held 4:00pm, Saturday, March 12, 2016 at the DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Avenue, Binghamton with military honors. Family will receive friends from 1:00 until 4:00 pm.
