Darcy Ann Swartwood, 37, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on February 26, 2016. She loved Jesus with all her heart. Darcy was prececeased by her mother Deborah Swartwood and father, Roger Swartwood, grandfather, Daniel Smith and grandmother Edith Swartwood. She is survived by her beloved nephew, Christopher Swartwood, Binghamton, parent, Charla Stein, Binghamton, brother, Darrell Swartwood, Binghamton, sister, Kathy Staples, Binghamton, grandparents, Charlene Jacques, Binghamton and Bob Swartwood, Vestal, nephews, Joshua nd Nathan Staples, niece, Gianna Stilloe and many aunts, uncles and cousins. She leaves behind many great friends. Darcy graduated from Greene High School and Becker College. She loved crocheting, quilting and was well known for her beautiful baby outfits and scarves which she gifted to many family and friends. The family would like to share their deep gratitude to Dr. Sargent, Dr. Yalamanchili, Dr. Lele & all the staff at Broome Oncology, Wilson Infusion, Lourdes ICU/PCU & Roswell Cancer Institute. Your truly loving care of Darcy throughout her journey with cancer was beyond exemplary! Thank you! Memorial services will be held 1:00 pm, Thursday, March 3, 2016 at the Binghamton First Assembly of God, 255 Washington Street, Binghamton with Pastor J. J. Hefley officiating.
