Iona May Sickles

Our beloved mother and grandmother, Iona May Sickles,80, went to be with our Lord on February 12, 2016 with her husband Tim Sickles at her side in their residence in Greene, New York. Born May 14, 1935 in Windsor, New York to William and Kathiren Steinbercher, Iona was predeceased by her son, James A. Lockwood, Jr and grandson, Shannon R. Lockwood, two sisters and six brothers. Iona is survived by her husband Tim, their children and spouses, Linda Lockwood, Joan Lockwood, Tammy and Richard Smith, Shelley and Eric Jensen and Edwin and Karen Lockwood. She leaves behind eighteen grandchildren and thirty five great grandchildren, one great great-grandchild and best friend Mogna. Memorial services will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the Ouaquaga United Methodist Church, 2185 State Route 79, Harpursville with Pastors Susan Crawson-Brizzolara and Eric Jensen officiating. Family will receive friends from 10:00 am until the time of services. Memorial contributions in Iona's name may be made to Saint Jude Children's Hospital. 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
