Obituary of Tullio DellacorinoTullio Dellacorino, 88, passed away Monday, March 23, 2015. He was predeceased by his parents, Biaso and Grace Dellacorino, brothers, Americo, Armando "Ears" and Benny Dellacorino. Tullio is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Eleanor, sons and daughter-in-law, Thomas Dellacorino, Alamogordo, New Mexico and Michael and Cecilia Dellacorino, Binghamton, treasured grandchildren, Christina and fiance? Brian Hoffman, Gabriella and Anthony Dellacorino, Binghamton, sisters-in-law, Marion Kulasza, Endicott, who was much more like a sister to Tullio and Sylvia Dellacorino, Binghamton and brothers-in-law, Stanley (Ann) Okoniewski, Cincinnati, Ohio and John and Maryan Okoniewski, Venice, Fla. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during World War II as a Sonar Specialist in the South Pacific. Tullio worked at GAF Corporation and then became a proud member of Local 7 Laborers Union for 35 years. Tullio loved his Catholic faith and attended Mass daily. His family and his home were most important to him. He loved people, made many friends and was able to light up a room with his smile. His family would like to express their deep appreciation to the caring staff of the Binghamton General ICU and Memorial 6. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 am, Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church, 192-194 Court Street, Binghamton. Interment will follow services in Calvary Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the church from 9:00am until the time of Mass. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Tullio's name may be mad to CHOW, Broome County Council of Churches, 3 Otsinengo Street, Binghamton, NY 13903.
